I ordered a cake, very similar to the classic trifle, for my friend's birthday and I was more than satisfied with the result! The dessert presented itself aesthetically well, (I attach photos) very fresh and excellent in flavor due to its balanced mix of both the syrup and the filling. In practice, the dessert was composed of layers of soft sponge cake superimposed and soaked in alchermes and rum, with alternating layers of custard and dark custard then completed with a covering of cream and toasted almond flakes.
A combination of incredible flavors! The birthday girl, of Abruzzo origins, was enthusiastic about the cake. Upon tasting it, it reminded her a lot of "sweet pizza from Abruzzo". The guests all enjoyed the dessert so much that they ordered an encore! I would like to congratulate "the experts", also on behalf of the birthday girl. I highly recommend this bakery! I ordered the cake here for my thirtieth birthday, cream and fruit tart. The melon is a little tasteless and the biscuit underneath is slightly hard, but otherwise very good and impressive (as you can see from the photo). The girl who took my order was kind and helpful. I also ordered some cream mignons but I can't judge them because they disappeared in 5 minutes 🤣 so I assume they were good. The right price. I will definitely be back 😊
I want to tell you one thing... When we enter dressed "for work" or "in pajamas" don't look at us badly, it would be kind to say "hello or goodbye" never received OR JUST A SMILE (never received EVEN this)... Well, what can I expect from people like you who are so bourgeois and high-class, you know, your pastry shop is located in a residential area in via dei PARIOLI, or in the humble working-class neighborhood of "San Basilio".

I've known Dolcilandia since 1991, or when they opened, I don't remember.
I have always used them and have always felt good.
The other day, however, I bought a log as an improvised cake for a birthday, and I asked for a simple "Happy Birthday".
Unfortunately, they didn't put a transversal cardboard arch and when they wrapped the cake, the paper was crushed on the dedication.
Such a pity.
A pastry shop so well stocked with pastries, mignons, cakes and delicious croissants for good breakfasts with always kind and welcoming staff with a good quality/price ratio you can find it in Rome, Via Casal Tidei ... and you can also book the cakes for telephone... order for events and catering... highly recommended
